"Tell your children about it in the years to come, and let your children tell their children.
Pass the story down from generation to generation." (Joel 1:3)

Sunday school is a place where we sense our belonging as God's children and grow in the knowledge of His love and discover our gifts as we follow Jesus Christ who shapes our characters to be like His. So our goal as church, is to invest in the lives of our children, our desire is to help them build a genuine relationship with God, encourage them to model their relationship with others; provide a fun environment for them to learn and grow in their love of God.
Every year, the church organizes an end-of-year Sunday school celebration where the students from a
ll classes along with their teachers enthusiastically prepare a program to be presented to the parents.
We strive to create a place where kids know they are special and important.

Sunday School Celebration - 2011
Teachers and students impatiently await the end-of-year Sunday school celebration. Children of all ages gather for a one-hour program where each class presents a special program.
On Sunday June 12, 2011, the whole church was invited to attend this year’s celebration. Parents were excited to see and hear their young kids reciting verses from the Bible and chanting hymns. The older kids filmed what they learned in Sunday school.
The whole celebration ended with a special program that the eldest children performed. They presented a talk-show where they pretended to host the prophet Moses to talk about the lessons one learns from some of the stories that were written in the first five books of the Bible. The show included short skits that reflect the themes that they learned in Sunday school over the past year, as well as questions addressed to the audience.
At the end of the celebration all the children received gifts that added to their real joy as they heard the church’s applause!

Sunday School Teachers Meeting with Pastor Tony
In preparation for the new academic Sunday school year, the pastor organized a meeting for all the teaching body of the school, where he emphasized on the importance of the children’s ministry given that the children are the ones who will carry on the mission of the church in the future.
In order to succeed in this ministry, the teacher should provide the children with love. S/he should be able to identify each child’s needs and should have knowledge of the subject matter and teaching material. Moreover, a teacher should be able to employ successful teaching methods in terms of class coordination, maintain a team-work spirit with the students, and provide a positive and caring teaching atmosphere by being a role model i.e. living what you teach, as well as showing enthusiasm for the ministry, and bearing the fruits of the spirit.
In addition, a teacher should most importantly have a focused purpose and true evaluation and appreciation of the ministry. It also goes without saying that the teacher should be truly committed to his/her work at the ministry and should pray regularly.
