“… if any fellowship of the Spirit...” (Philippians 2: 1)

This verse is the theme of our congregation all year round. As one heart we often come together for a time of  fellowship where we spend the time together, singing praises to the Lord, engaging in fun activities, sharing experiences and the Lord’s blessings, as well as dinning together.

New Year Celebration - Dec 31, 2014
The church celebrated New Year’s Eve under the theme “Remember” (Deuteronomy 8). The first part of the evening was dedicated to worship where we chanted songs of praise and listened to testimonies that were truly touching and consoling to our souls. The session was then followed by special programs prepared by both the children and the youth of the church to remind us to always give thanks and praise to the Lord. After that, the pastor spoke a few words to stir up our minds, as brothers and sisters of the same congregation, on the importance of loving God and one another and more so, to express this God-inspired love daily and through our actions.
Like every year, the prison ministry briefed us on its latest accomplishments and activities that continue to affect and change the inmates through the work of Jesus Christ. As always, a delicious meal was served after which a play was presented that displayed the difference between the church in the time of the apostle Paul and the churches at the present time. The play highlighted how the churches nowadays are gradually straying from the right path.
As every year, the archives committee took us down memory lane, and reminded us of all the events the church organized during the year of 2014. It was very delightful to go through our gatherings and fellowships with one another. Last but not least, the whole congregation was engaged in a game called “Remember and Win”, during which our knowledge of the scripture was put to test.
As has been the custom, we wrapped up the evening with the song of praise “You crown the year with Your bounty and Your carts overflow with abundance”, thanking the Lord for His constant care, mercy and love that accompany us as we sojourn here on earth.

New Year Celebration - Dec 31, 2012
Badaro Church rang in the New Year’s Eve with a special gathering for the whole congregation. The celebration featured spiritually interactive activities presented by the church’s children, youth, and adults.
The congregation was also briefed about the prison ministry and heard a special testimony by brother Hussein. It was a blessing to hear the updates of this valuable ministry. And as usual, brothers and sisters enjoyed the tasteful food that was served for this occasion.
At the end of the celebration the youth of the church presented a pleasant play with a touching message.
We thank God for the past year and His abundant goodness to us. We can surely sing and say: “You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.” (Psalms 65:11)

New year Celebration - December 31, 2010
We welcomed the New Year with a blessed eve under the theme “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ…” (Romans 13:14)  The celebrations started with a small reception. Then the children, aged 7-12, recalled what they learned throughout the year on the theme “A Heart Like Jesus” and chanted some hymns. After that there was a time of worship with the church choir. This was followed by a presentation entitled “Behold I will do a new thing” that was prepared by the ladies of the church. Then the youth  presented an object lesson, a video clip, and engaged the audience in a challenging game.
The pastor then gave a word on the theme of the evening. Then the teens recited full chapters from the Bible.
This was followed by a presentation entitled “Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity” in which photos of church gatherings and trips that took place during the year 2010 were shown.
At the end, part 4 of the skit “The Clever Understands” was presented by some of our youth members.
The evening was wrapped up around one after midnight where we prayed asking for God’s blessing and protection for the coming year.
