"For the perfecting of
the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying
of the Body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:12)
With the
purpose of building the capacities of the church we hold
periodic seminars, training workshops, and spiritual
symposiums that address the felt
and communicated needs of the congregation and the
surrounding community. Our events include as well the
launching of spiritual books written by our
pastors in partnership with the Dar Manhal Al Hayat, a
Christian publishing house that works on marketing them
beyond Lebanon.

Seminar
with Dr. Farid Zaki - January
6,7,&8, 2010
Being
the most blessed entity by God, the church found it imperative to
organize a seminar for three
consecutive nights on the topic of the Family.
The
keynote speaker, brother Zaki, gave us the foundations on
which a healthy Christian family should be built and they are:
wisdom, fear of God, righteousness, satisfaction, and kind words. Then
he moved on to discuss the most critical area where he
highlighted the ingredients of a healthy atmosphere for bringing up
the children, namely: God’s grace, holiness, unconditional love,
obedience, avoidance of over pampering, coverage for mistakes, and
the joy
of the Lord (through praise, prayer, reading the Bible, positive
attitude).
The
last night was wrapped up with a Question & Answer session.
Brother
Zaki’s words influenced the attendants and touched their hearts who
decided to put their
previous methods of up-bringing to test.
