Badaro Baptist Church
The Evangelical Baptist Church of Badaro is
one of the earliest Baptist churches in Lebanon. Our journey
as a community started in 1956 and over the years, and with
God’s grace, several other churches were founded through
this mother church. We’re on a mission, calling out to the
lost in our country “The kingdom of God has come near.
Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15)
We invite you to take a look at the various sections of our
website to learn more about who we are, our calling and
history, the diverse programs and activities that take place
within and through our church.

Meet
Pastor Tony Skaff
"I grew up in a traditional Christian family, and studied
at an Evangelical school, which gave me a good knowledge
of the Bible. As a result, I knew a lot about Jesus,
yet I didn't know Him personally. In fact, it is
easy to be religious without knowing God, and I'm sure
there are many people as such, today"...

Family, relationships, stories, doctrines, theology, bible

Statement of Faith
We teach that the Bible is
God's written revelation to man, and
thus the 66 books of the Bible given to us by the Holy
Spirit constitute the plenary
(inspired equally in all parts)
Word of God (1 Cor. 2:7-14; 2 Pet. 1:20&21)

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord.”
(Psalm 127:3)
Childcare Center serves children from birth up to 7
years of age, throughout all worship services to
enable their mothers to take part in the service.
The preschool team oversees all the
children's activities during worship services.
Preschoolers spend their time at the nursery
engaging in worship and play activities that are
developmentally appropriate.
By God's grace, we were able to renovate the
Children's Nursery and make it a colorful and
nurturing environment for them.
We pray that the time the children spend at the
Nursery will enrich their lives so they grow up to
be men and women according to God's own heart.

Badaro Baptist Church values children and believes in
their wonderful potential to become men and women of
God and good vessels for His use. Our church
provides faith nurturing programs that are relevant
to the various age groups. These include special
programs for children between 7 and 12 years of age
during the Friday Bible Study service and the Sunday
night service (1st Sunday of each month). As the members of the
church attend the meeting, their children enjoy as
well a special program that encourages them to learn
and study the Bible in many creative and interesting
ways, keeping in mind that raising those kids on the right
values and ethics means raising up the future
essence of this local church, just as it is written
“he
commanded our fathers, that they should make them
known to their children; that the generation to come
might know them, the children who would be born,
that they may arise and declare them to their
children.”

“… And
have redeemed us to God by
your
blood out of every tribe and
tongue
and people and nation.”
(Revelation 5:9)
Each Sunday, at 10:30 a.m., a
group of the Ethiopian
congregation gather at the first
floor of the church’s building
to praise & honor a faithful God
who never abandons His own
children even while being apart
from their own country to work
abroad.
The Ladies enjoy singing hymns &
listening to sermons, as well as
each other’s company for around
five hours.
Besides,
Pastor
Elias
follows up with the girls
through discipleship programs,
and helps in several social,
legal, and spiritual problems.
